To everyone that is being verbally harassed by Vanderbilt Mortgage please take the time to write them a letter and send it certified with signature confirmation. YOU can stop their phone calls by stating in the letter that all communication with them regarding account number***** be done in writing.

State that they do not have permission to contact you by phone at home or your place of employment, nor can they contact any other parties to discuss your account or your whereabouts. The internet can provide you with a sample cease and desist letter. This means that you will be responsible to also contact them in writing(ALWAYS certified and signature confirmation) to make payment arrangements or discuss your intentions for your loan. With this, you will no longer be subjected to the verbal abuse from their representatives.

The customer service representatives employed by Vanderbilt work on commission, they only get paid if they can get a payment over the phone or sent by western union the day they speak to you. Don't let them get to you, they are also trying to make ends meet. I couldn't do it but they must need the income.

Turnover in this company is very high, we all know why. Write the letter and it will put you back in control.
